Job Hunting after the B.Ed
February 17, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm UTC-4
This session wil help candidates understand how to navigate the early years in your teaching career after you graduate. This includes the transition into substitute teaching, long term occasional jobs, additional qualifications, and more. Many of the questions the speaker will be answering in this session will include: How do I market myself to school boards? What does the job market look like right now? How do I apply to occasional teaching and long-term occasional teaching positions? What are school boards looking for in applications and interviews? What do I do after I get a job? What are the steps needed to receive supply calls? I’m excited to speak with everyone and be a part of conference week!
